Scale & Mercer respects what you share with us. This page explains what the site collects, how we use it, and how you can ask us to remove it.
What this site collects
scalemercer.com does not run analytics, cookies, or third-party tracking pixels in its current edition. We do not log IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or visitor behaviour beyond what your browser sends to our hosting provider (Vercel) for routing and performance.
When you click "Speak with the studio" the site opens your default email client with a pre-addressed message to karim.sameh@scalemercer.com. The site itself does not capture your email or message — that is handled entirely by your own email client and the recipient inbox.
When you click the phone number, your device's dialer opens. The site does not place the call or log it.
What we do with what you send us
If you reach out by email, we use the information you share to respond, scope possible work, and (if we engage) deliver that work. We store your email exchange in our standard business email systems (Google Workspace) and treat it with the same discretion we treat every client conversation.
We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information to third parties. We do not share your inquiry with anyone outside Scale & Mercer Inc. unless you explicitly ask us to.
Retention
Email correspondence is retained for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period after — typically the length of an engagement plus two years for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by writing to karim.sameh@scalemercer.com.
Hosting & infrastructure
The site is hosted on Vercel (USA, with Canadian edge regions). Vercel handles request routing and may collect standard web-server logs (request URL, timestamp, IP address) for security and performance purposes. Vercel's privacy practices are governed by their own policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Your rights under PIPEDA
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access that information on request
- Correct it if inaccurate
- Withdraw consent for its use at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Changes to this policy
If we ever start using analytics, cookies, or any tool that collects information automatically, we will update this page and note the change at the top. We will not introduce tracking retroactively against existing visitors without consent.
